Homegrown
Homegrown is a meditation on patience, care, and the intimate rhythms that shape family life. Working from photographs taken in my own backyard and the local farmer’s market, I translated the textures and colors of ripening fruit and tender vegetables into layered still lifes that hold memory and ritual. Each painting is a portrait of waiting — the small, everyday labors of tending a garden that echo the work of motherhood and household care. Through careful mark-making and layered surfaces, I invite you to slow down and witness the slow unveiling of life, season by season.
